Presenting images which boldly and shamelessly reflect the expressions of natural love, affection, intimacy, sensuality, and bonding between men.
I often get questions – and some misunderstood comments – about the Masculine Perspectives category label “Sunday’s Sin” with reference to articles featuring images of same-sex [male] couples and/or groups of men in sexually intimate positions and/or showing expressions of sensuality between them. The Masculine Perspectives blog isn’t the first time I’ve used the term/label “Sunday’s Sin”. I created it a few years ago for my now-defunct Facebook page also named “Masculine Perspectives”. I thought the label name was cute then (for reasons you’ll quickly see) and so, when I created this blog, simply carried over the term/label as a category name.
You’ve already read the preamble (which is the short description) posted ahead of each photo or gif of a “Sunday’s Sin” article. The following is an excerpt from the long description of the “Sunday’s Sin” category. It succinctly explains why I label certain posts published on Sunday as “Sunday’s Sin”:
“Content posted in the Sunday’s Sin category is in hard defiance of those persons or groups who object or take issue with any act or expression of natural human intimacy between a same-sex couple. The word “sin” used in the Masculine Perspectives category title “Sunday’s Sin”, is simply meant to mock those objections (particularly since I, being atheist, do not believe in the concept of sin as defined by religion).”
Now you know! 😎
